The customer contacted you because there was an issue with a 2-wire smoke detector on Zone 1 of their Honeywell VISTA-32 panel. The issue was caused by a power surge from a storm, which led to the smoke detector being deleted from the system.

Verifying the difference between local smoke detectors and burglar alarm smoke detectors.
